Seattle Cider Company launches South Carolina market on May 15

Offering dry craft cider made from fresh pressed Washington apples, Seattle Cider Company partners with Breakthru Beverage for the launch of its 14th state.

Becoming the fourteenth state to carry its products, Seattle Cider Company is pleased to announce a new partnership with Breakthru Beverage to bring Seattle Cider’s unique selection of craft ciders to South Carolina! Known for its collection of dry, flavorful ciders – successfully bridging the gap between beer and wine – Seattle Cider Company ciders are made from 100 percent fresh-pressed Washington apples, gluten free and never from concentrate. Available throughout the state beginning May 15, the growing cidery will offer its entire year round and seasonal lineup of products statewide.

Plus, the timing is perfect as the weather begins to warm up in South Carolina!”

Upon launch in South Carolina with Breakthru Beverage, Seattle Cider Co. products will be available at select restaurants, bars and retail stores statewide. Available in 16-ounce cans and on draft, initial Seattle Cider Co. offerings will include:

Dry: Dry and pleasantly acidic, flavors of nectarine and under ripe peach hit the palate with no residual sweetness. One of the driest ciders on the market. 0 brix, 6.5% ABV, 16-ounce can, draft.

Semi-Sweet: A light, crisp cider with just a touch of sweetness, this cider is honey in color with notes of orange, lemon and apple. A refreshing cider, it reveals hints of apricot on the palate. 2.6 brix, 6.5% ABV, 16-ounce can, draft.

Berry: Crafted with locally grown raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries, this cider is softly tart at the start, softly sweet on the finish while being both accessible and full-flavored. 1.8 brix, 6.9% ABV, 16-ounce can, draft.

To celebrate its South Carolina launch, the Seattle Cider Company team will be hosting tastings and events throughout the area the week of May 15. Keep on eye on Seattle Cider Company social media pages for details on where to find the team and their cider!

Popular limited edition ciders Three Pepper and Gin Botanical, available in 22oz bottles, will launch in South Carolina in the coming months. Additional ciders – including seasonal ciders Pumpkin Spice, Oaked Maple and Basil Mint – will become available in market as they are released throughout the year.
