On July 24th, 2017, Odell Brewing introduced a new limited release in cans, Sunny Rain Golden Tart.
“We see a lot of dry-hopped sours that are very bold and lingering. They have their place in our beer fridge, but we were inspired to find a more delicate balance of hops and tart,” says Brendan McGivney, our COO. “That’s where Sunny Rain ventures into new territory.”
In a category all it’s own, Sunny Rain is a dry-hopped golden ale that balances a tart citrus-like character with a subtle bite and a bright hoppy aroma.
“Balancing tart and hops reminded us of other unlikely pairs,” explains Eric Smith, CSMO. “Like a light sprinkle of rain on a sunny Colorado day, this beer is unexpected and pleasantly refreshing.”
Sunny Rain Golden Tart will be available in 6-pack 12oz cans and draft beginning July 24th throughout the brewery’s 15-state distribution footprint.
